H&R's Sport Springs are the most popular in their line up of performance lowering springs. The 99-04 Cobra Mustang was equipped with an independent rear suspension. These cars utilize spring rates vastly different than solid axle GTs and V6s. The H&R Sport Springs are ideal for mainly street driven cars that want to get a nice even look with improved handling. The spring rates used on the "Sport" series are comfortable for the street while proving themselves in spirited driving conditions. The 1.5" drop is moderate and puts the fenders just over the tires for a sportier, sleeker look. Part# 51659 fits coupe models only.

Great daily driver/weekend racer springs	December 7, 2008

1 word for these springs.. perfect. It gives about an inch or so drop. Very comfortable for daily driving and clearing most all speed bumps, but enough stiffness for taking your favorite corner 20mph faster than you did on stock springs due to fear your cobra was going to flip from body roll.
