Great Flywheel But Take Caution On Install May 9, 2015

Flywheel is perfect. Lighter than the stock one. And impossible to bolt off alignment due to bolt pattern. Only complaint I have with the flywheel is a missing note on the install instructions SPEC should have included but did not.

IF YOU HAVE A 94-98 V6. Your engines are externally balanced and require the weight pre-installed on the back of the flywheel.

IF YOU HAVE A 99-04 V6. Your engines are internally balanced and require the weight to be removed. If you do not you will have severe vibration issues that will do damage to both your Engine and Transmission if left in place. SPEC knows of this and fails to note it in their install instructions.

98-99 V6 because of the build dates and changes you will have to inspect your factory flywheel to know for sure if it needs removed. If there are weights on the Factory Flywheel you will need to leave the weight on the SPEC one.
